Oh hey!
I’ve been writing this Handbook since 2014. It’s time to finish. In the next few months, you can expect:
- formatting changes as I prepare to package the Handbook into book format. See below for details.
- content updates I as clean up chapters to make them more coherent.
Do you want to suggest edits or new chapters for this Handbook? You have until June 1, 2025.

Generally, the readership of this handbook clump into a few groups. While I think everything here is interesting, different groups are more interested in specific topics.
Faculty
Classically trained faculty embarking on education research, venerable research advisors, and postdocs thinking about their first independent research project
Students
Students getting started in research, in education or otherwise, and the advisors who want to share resources with them.
PEER
Participants in the Professional development for Emerging Education Researchers (PEER) program, and other emerging education researchers.
